Halloween Gift Bags by Laurel

Welcome to Holiday week here on the SRM Blog where you will find inspiration for Halloween and Christmas projects.  You won't want to miss a day!  So sit back and relax and be prepared for great ideas!

Laurel Seabrook joins us today with some quick and easy Halloween Gift Bags that are perfect for holding a few little goodies. Laurel loves to slip a gift card for Starbucks into little bags for her girls.  Laurel starts out with some of SRM's Glassine Bags and creates each panel to fit on the front, doing her sewing and adding embellishments.  Then she adheres the panels to the front of the bags.  Laurel adds some SRM stickers from the We've Got Your Border Halloween along with some Twinery Twine Laurel loves how these bags went together so very easily!

Laurel cuts a SRM Halloween border sticker apart to create separate words, inspired by subway art that is all the rage.  The spider is cut with her Silhouette.

On this card the border sticker runs along a tag and then is embellished with some sequins.  How fun!

Another Silhouette cut spider and the words once again cut from the border sticker.

Finally another quick and easy card, using a few punches and a sticker sentiment again from the Halloween Border set.

Thanks for the inspiration Laurel.  I love the idea of making decorative panels to dress up Glassine Bags.  What a clever idea!

Join us tomorrow for another "spooky" project from Latrice!  It's a treat!
