Best Witches

We are so lucky to have Amy Heller designing for SRM Stickers. Amy's work is frequently published in scrapbooking and card making print magazines. She's a card making pro! Amy created several SRM Halloween cards this season and I don't know know which one I like best -- they are all fabulous! I have a few today, and more tomorrow.

You can take a peek at (and purchase!) all of SRM's Halloween product, HERE.

Today's cards feature our Express Yourself Halloween stickers;

Don't you love how Amy used stickers to create her background panel?!

Stop by again tomorrow for more Halloween cards by Amy. Have you seen our current challenge? Scroll down for details about our partnership with Operation Write Home!

Operation Write Home

Happy Monday! Thanks for stopping by today. We have a special post and challenge -- we've teamed with Operation Write Home!

About OWH!
Operation Write Home began in 2007 with just a few cards made by friends on a message board; what began as an outlet for a hobby has become a much larger mission to help heroes keep in touch with home - and the effort has been joined by thousands of cardmakers!

OWH receives handmade cards donated by crafters across America (and beyond!). Cardmakers range in age, location, and level of skill; cards are provided by individuals and groups, schools and scouts, companies and churches. All have one primary thing in common: a desire to serve those who defend our nation!

Cards are mailed to one of our volunteer shippers in quanities both small and large. The shippers process, sort, repair, and document each donation, and then pack and ship boxes of over 300 cards each to our contacts. Our heroes request cards (families may also request on their behalf; we serve all branches in all deployed locations.

Make It!
Create a card using the sketch below, which adheres to the OWH general rules found HERE. Enter your card via Mr. Linky below by September 30th at Midnight, PST.

Ship It!
Send your card to one of the OWH shipper addresses listed HERE.

The Prize!
A SRM Prize Package of NEW SRM Stickers, released at CHA Chicago. Challenge winner will be announced and featured here at the SRM Stickers Blog on Monday, October 4th.

Flickr Spotlights

I love Flickr Spotlight Days! Take a look at what I found in our Gallery. Amazing work, ladies, thank for sharing it with us.

by Petra Coolen
These Birthday invitations are adorable. They are personalized and festive. Petra changed out the banner and SRM Stickers but kept her layout the same.

by Michelle Giraud
Doesn't this card help you look forward to crispy cool Fall days? Michelle did a terrific job coloring and piecing.

by luluinlove
There's so much to say about this card! The cork, the little gemstones, the clean and simple sentiment, all bring this card together in a beautiful way.

by PrecociousPaper
I love the dynamic between the sweet, soft flower and leaves, and the super bold greeting -- they're a perfect match!

by Melissa Elsner
A simple "XO", printed in white, is just the SRM Sticker that this kraft card needed. Love the gel pen stitching, too. Wonderful card, Melissa!

That was fun! I hope you have a wonderful weekend...see you again on Monday with a very special post and challenge.

SRM Stickers LOVE Patterned Paper

I have a pair of adorable cards to show to you today. Jing-Jing and Gina used one of the Design Team's favorite techniques -- adhering SRM Stickers directly onto patterned paper.

More WGYS by Nina

I have a few more gorgeous cards using our new We've Got Your Sticker "Thanks" and "Happy" by our Designer, Nina.

I love how the white sentiment stands out on deep red cardstock;

Nina trimmed a word sticker to use the letters individually for her banner;

Beautiful, Nina (as always!). More cards are up tomorrow, then it's time for Flickr Spotlights on Friday. I'll be grabbing some exceptional reader gallery submissions to feature here, so load 'em up!

Sticker Scraps

Deana mentioned that when she was furiously creating her {amazing} SRM calendar, she was putting her leftover SRM stickers aside to save. I giggled because I do the same thing! I keep all of my 'sticker scraps' in a little container on top of my craft table. They're perfect to grab for a card, as Deana did here;

We received wonderful responses to our We've Got Your Sticker Feature last week -- we, the Designers, love them, too! As promised, we have a winner for you;

Nicole Maki said...
What great inspiration. Love all the samples you made. You know, it took me several minutes to decide my favorite set. By a teeny, tiny hair it's "Thanks". They're all fabulous!
